The RBI team was delighted to be nominated as a finalist for the third consecutive year for ITIJ’s prestigious 2018 Global Awards, which were hosted in Geneva. As part of our Finalist nomination, we also celebrated the 80th Birthday of Chairman Tony Rowland, recognising the origins and development of RBI and the continuing dedication of our Team as they respond to bereaved families all over the world.

During ITIC Geneva, continuing the Rowland Brothers Foundation’s tradition of supporting good causes, Managing Director Steve Rowland sponsored a Gala Concert in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  The Royal Marsden hosts the Oak Drug Development Unit, one of the largest facilities in the world dedicated to testing new cancer therapies and is involved in some of the latest discoveries in cancer treatment.

The Concert raised £2000. The musical performance was coordinated by Carlos Alonso, Managing Medical Director of Evolomedica, working alongside a group of talented professional musicians based in Geneva. As always, work behind the scenes translates into a successful event, on this occasion from the initial concept in Barcelona to the final production in Geneva. Thanks to Steve for his generous sponsorship, to Carlos for his enthusiasm and commitment, and the ITIJ Team for supporting this inaugural Concert. When we work together, anything is possible, so we’re investing in a future beyond cancer.
