When my father passed away in 2016, the funeral directors made a huge error and sent my father to Italy without letting us, the family know. He arrived in Naples with no-one to collect him. Fortunately, N. dropped everything and went to collect my father. As you can imagine the distress this caused us was unimaginable.
Because of this, we were very anxious and worried with my mother’s repatriation. I wish I had found Rowland Brothers back in 2016 as the way you have looked after my mother and your professionalism in her repatriation has exceeded my expectations. On behalf of my sister and I, we want to thank you again for your assistance and care.

My wife passed away recently, suddenly, at a tragically young age. I engaged Rowland Brothers International to repatriate her ashes to Ecuador, where she was born and raised. In my dealings over a period of over three months with Rowland Brothers, Bibi Aubdoolah, proved herself to be the most patient, professional, efficient, caring, warm and wise operative. She responded promptly to all my frantic emails and dealt with my emotional outbursts. She understood, like no other, the grief and wild mood swings I was prey to and dealt with me with consummate tenderness, tact and the lightest of touches.
Her job was made all the more difficult by the wilful intransigence, petty bureaucracy and spiteful obstinacy of the Ecuadorean Consulate who, at every turn, placed one obstacle after another in our path. The way Bibi dealt with them was an object lesson in grace under pressure, clear-headedness, thinking outside the box and a refusal to ever let those petty pen-pushers get her down.
With the skill of a bullfighter, she twisted and turned away from the brutal horns of their capricious malice and finally made sure my wife returned home. She did her job exceptionally well, but, more, she did it with a rare sympathy, empathy and humanity, in very trying circumstances.

I only have thanks and positive thoughts when I reflect on the service Rowland Brothers provided when handling the repatriation of my late father from the UK to Barbados. The two gentlemen that collected my father from his care home did so with the utmost dignity and respect. At that difficult time, I felt reassured that he was in safe hands. Thank you to Alison and all who were involved with the safe transport of my late father to his place of rest. No question was too much, and I was kept informed along the process. Thank you again.

Yesterday I received my brother’s ashes from your courier and want to express my huge thanks and appreciation of the service I received from the moment I phoned the number given to me by a local undertaken to deal with the problem of repatriation from Colorado US with all the Covid restrictions.
I was immediately reassured that this could be done, how and when in a time slot and also an estimated cost.
Apart from the difficulty we had in locating my brother’s passport, cremation certificate, death certificates etc it all went very smoothly.
I would particularly wish to thank the person who handled everything for me. I have written her a letter of appreciation separately but did not want to make her name public.

The funeral director called us and we went to see the coffin this afternoon and on Monday we will start to make local funeral arrangements.
